A meeting was organized by the Bahujan Samaj Party in village Chakrohi of Suchetgarh assembly constituency, where discussions were held regarding the upcoming celebration of the birth anniversary of Bahujan Samaj Party’s National President, Behan Kumari Mayawati, on January 15. The meeting was chaired by Suchetgarh Assembly Coordinator Bishan Das Bhagat, with the presence of President J&K Darshan Rana as the chief guest. Notable attendees included Assembly President Raj Kumar, Secretary Ratan Lal Toga, Assembly Deputy President Raj Kumar, and other senior party leaders and workers.
BSP State President Darshan Rana was warmly welcomed by party workers upon his arrival in the area, marking his first visit to the assembly constituency since becoming the state president of the Bahujan Samaj Party.
Addressing the party workers, Darshan Rana announced that Bahujan Samaj Party would celebrate BSP National President Mayawati’s birthday on January 15 as Jan Kalyan Diwas at Ambedkar Bhawan, Bari Brahmana. He shared that Bahujan Samaj Party’s Jammu Kashmir Coordinator and former MP Rajaram, along with Avtar Singh Karimpuri, would be the chief guests in this program, and hundreds of party workers were expected to participate in the celebration.
Rana urged party workers to dedicate themselves to serving the needy on this day.
During the meeting, discussions also revolved around the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. Rana conveyed that the Bahujan Samaj Party would contest on all seats in Jammu division, emphasizing the party’s commitment to strengthening its presence. He highlighted an ongoing public relations campaign aimed at connecting more people with the party and raising awareness about its policies.
Key figures present during the meeting included Janak Raj Harbans Lal Bhagat, Ambedkar Sarmal, Paras Ram, Labh Chand Bittu Ram, Satpal, women’s unit head Mahindro Devi, and other dedicated workers.
