In a commendable display of appreciation for the relentless efforts of the Jammu and Kashmir Police, Shiv Sena Hindustan Youth Wing J&K President Ganesh Choudhary today acknowledging and praising the district Jammu team for their outstanding work in curbing drug abuse and promoting constructive activities among the youth honoured SSP Jammu Vonod Kumar.
Speaking on the occasion, Ganesh said with a commitment to ensuring the well-being and safety of the community, the J&K Police, under the leadership of Senior Superintendent of Police for District Jammu Vinod Kumar and other police personals have been actively involved in combating the menace of drug abuse. Their dedicated efforts have not only resulted in the arrest of several drug peddlers but also in the promotion of physical activities and sports among the youth in the district.
Ganesh, expressed his gratitude towards the J&K Police, particularly the Jammu District team, highlighted their proactive approach in addressing the pressing issue of drug abuse. He said, “The police in our district have been working tirelessly to keep our community safe and secure. Their recent successes in apprehending drug peddlers and encouraging our youth to engage in physical activities and sports are commendable.”
“The people behind this mafia who are destroying our youth and society should not be spared,” added Ganesh. The district Jammu Police team’s efforts have yielded tangible results in the fight against drugs. Several operations have been conducted, leading to the identification and apprehension of individuals involved in the illegal drug trade. This proactive stance has sent a strong message that drug abuse will not be tolerated, and the authorities are committed to eradicating this menace from society. SSP Jammu Vonod Kumar speaking on the occasion said that in addition to their anti-drug efforts, the J&K Police have been actively engaging with the youth of Jammu District to promote a healthier and more constructive lifestyle. Initiatives encouraging participation in sports, fitness activities, and community events have garnered positive responses from the local population. The police’s involvement in such initiatives not only fosters a sense of community but also serves as a deterrent to potential involvement in illicit activities. SSP emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts between the community and law enforcement in ensuring the success of such initiatives. He urged residents to support the police in their endeavors and to actively participate in activities that contribute to the overall well-being of the district. He expressed their commitment to a drug-free Jammu and stressed the need for a holistic approach involving law enforcement agencies, community leaders, and concerned citizens to tackle this issue effectively. To curb this problem before it spirals out of control, a well-defined strategy tailored to the region’s circumstances is crucial.
