Seeks speedy removal of legal obstacles for smooth execution of vital projects

Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai chaired a meeting of the District-Level Standing Committee in the Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex to review the progress made in pursuing the pending litigation related to the encroachment of State and Government land. The District-Level Standing Committee focused on addressing legal challenges affecting various departments. Senior Superinten-dent of Police Joginder Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Joginder Singh Jasrotia, SDM, Ramnagar Shishir Gupta, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Rafiq Ahmed Jaral and the officers of other departments attended the meeting. During the meeting, the DC underscored the importance of resolving legal obstacles to facilitate the timely completion of vital projects crucial for the district’s development.
The meeting witnessed active participation from department heads and officers responsible for overseeing different projects. A comprehensive department-wise review of pending cases took place, with DC instructing officers to personally follow up on cases, promptly file necessary replies, and ensure the timely disposal of legal matters.
The emphasis was on streamlining processes to accelerate the resolution of lingering issues and promote the overall progress of the district.
