The District Development Commissioner Reasi, Vishesh Mahajan chaired a meeting of concerned officers, here to review the realisation of Deliverables and progress on District Good Governance Index (DGGI) for the year 2023-24.
It is important to mention that the District Administration Reasi has been making all concerted efforts to improve the service delivery system at ground level and all efforts are on to register best performance with regard to indicators of GGI.
On the occasion, the DDC took a detailed review of each department and received updated status and feedback regarding indicators submitted by the district officers. On the occasion, all the departments presented the status of various developmental works undertaken and in pipeline in various sectors including Social Welfare, Tourism, Social Forestry, R&B, PMGSY, Health, Education, Rural development, Revenue etc.
DC stressed upon them to gear up their field activities and improve their performance under DGGI in all sectors including PMAY (Urban), Jal Shakti, Atal Pension Yojana, PM-JAY Sehat besides Employment and Mumkin schemes.
He stressed to expedite the pace of work so that all the undertaken projects are completed well within the stipulated time period.
District Administration shall provide all necessary support and assistance wherever needed in successful implementation of deliverables aimed at promoting Good Governance, the DC added.
ADDC Jyoti Slathia, CPO Sunita Kanchan, PO Poshan Mohd. Anwar Banday, ACR Anshumali Sharma, ACD Anirudh Rai, CEO and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
