Under the chairmanship of Shiv Sena Hindustan J&K President, Pandit Rajesh Kesari, and Captain Ghara Ram, President Jangwal, several prominent persons today joined Hindustan Shiv Sena at Jangwal in appreciation of SSH’s fight against the drugs menace in border areas, which has become a huge nuisance spoiling the younger generation.
Addressing the gathering, Kesari said that the way we had launched a campaign against drugs made a lot of difference to the government, due to which the police took strict action against the drug sellers and caught them and booked them in the districts under the Public Safety Act. Every effort is being made to keep the society and the young generation away from drugs. Shiv Sena Hindustan will also intensify its campaign against drugs in the border areas, added Kesari. He said SSH is committed to rooting out the menace of drugs from J&K and will not allow the smuggling of narcotics through J&K. He appreciated J&K Police for adopting a zero-tolerance policy against narcotics, and the results of this approach have started coming in. Kesari said, “We have decided that we will not allow any kind of narcotics trade in J&K nor will we allow any drugs to be smuggled through J&K.” He further said, “I fully believe that with coordinated efforts, we will be successful in rooting out the menace of drugs and achieve our goal of a drugs-free J&K. We will not rest until this fight against drugs is won.”
He said with the help of all organizations and other concerned, has been trying its best for a drugs-free J&K, but this war against narcotics cannot be won without people’s participation. Kesari said drugs not only make the younger generation and the society hollow but also its profits are being used against the country’s security. “I appeal to everyone to take part in this fight against drugs. People should inform the security agencies of any information about any drugs trade anywhere,” he said.
Prominent among those present on the occasion include Balveer Kumar, Captain Om Prakash, Balwant Saini, Raj Kumar, Rajesh Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar, Suresh Kumar, Darshana Devi, Anju Devi, Poli Devi, Neeru Devi besides others.
