In a fervent address at a public meeting organized by Smt. Viqar Choudhary, State President of BJP ST Mahila Morcha, Er. Gulam Ali Khatana, a BJP Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha, launched a scathing critique against opposition parties. He accused them of engaging in negative and destructive politics, neglecting their duty as a constructive opposition.
Speaking at the event held in the remote area of Gulhan, Taryath, MP Gulam Ali Khatana underscored the transformative impact of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the Indian narrative, both domestically and internationally. He lauded PM Modi’s leadership, attributing India’s emergence as a major economic force and global influencer to his vision. Khatana emphasized the government’s commitment to eradicating corruption and terrorism, showcasing India’s rapid growth under PM Modi’s leadership.
Drawing attention to the developmental surge in Jammu and Kashmir during the present regime, Khatana asserted that the region had not witnessed such progress in the past 70 years. He praised PM Modi’s approach, contrasting it with past governments, emphasizing tangible actions on the ground rather than mere rhetoric.
MP Khatana leveled allegations against dynastic politicians who, according to him, misappropriated a significant portion of financial assistance during past regimes. He commended the current LG administration for providing a responsive government at people’s doorsteps, citing initiatives like senior officers’ visits and the “Back to Village” program as tangible outcomes of governance.
Asserting that the central government’s focus is on ushering in a new era of development and progress for the region, Khatana envisioned a “Naya Jammu Kashmir” (New Jammu Kashmir). He highlighted the commitment to positive change and emphasized the government’s dedication to addressing the longstanding developmental issues faced by the region.
The public meeting witnessed a significant influx of new members into the BJP, indicating growing support for the party in the region. The enthusiastic response reflects the resonance of the party’s message and the appeal of the developmental initiatives undertaken by the central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. As political dynamics continue to evolve in Jammu and Kashmir, Er.
