Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav today undertook a comprehensive assessment visit encompassing Ward No. 4 of Kishtwar Town and adjoining areas, including Cherhar and Kuleed villages. The primary focus of the visit was to evaluate prevalent land issues, drainage concerns, and to identify suitable parking solutions near the FSC & CA store in Kuleed. He was accompanied by Tehsildar Kishtwar, Muneeb Umar, and EO Municipal Council Kishtwar, Ninad Sen and NT Kishtwar Rahul Singh Rana. Dr. Devansh Yadav inspected the areas, getting firsthand insights into the prevailing challenges. Subsequently, he issued crucial directives to the concerned officers, emphasizing the urgency of prompt action to resolve these issues. His directives also aim to facilitate the immediate resumption of stalled infrastructure and developmental projects affected by these concerns.
Highlighting the significance of the space adjacent to the FCS & CA store in Kuleed, the Deputy Commissioner stressed the need to transform it into a pivotal parking facility for efficient utilization.
During interactions on-site, DC Kishtwar underscored the pivotal role of addressing drainage issues in Ward No. 4, emphasizing that their feasible resolution would ensure proper town drainage, appealing to locals for their cooperation.
After assessing the drainage issue at Cherhar, Tehsildar Kishtwar was directed to take corrective measures promptly as per the provision under law.
