JAMMU, Dec 27
Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) has strongly condemned and criticized Farooq Abdullah, the former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, for his nasty statement that India will face a Gaza-like situation if talks were not initiated with Pakistan.
Kundan Kashmiri, President KPC, strongly castigated Farooq Abdullah for pleading and advocating for the cause of Pakistan and for threatening the Indian nation with a Gaza-like situation if talks were not initiated with Pakistan. He said it is unfortunate for our democratic country to have Farooq Abdullah-like Parliament members and Chief Ministers who take a huge step forward by threatening India for a Gaza-like situation if talks are not initiated with Pakistan. It has become his habit to rant anti-national sentiments on one hand and swear by the Constitution of India on the other hand to graze in greener pastures.
Kundan Kashmiri further stated that Farooq Abdullah has again gone the Hurriyat way, consistently nailing and bashing India, and advocating for the disintegration of our nation. He has always shown solidarity against nationalists of the Union Territory of J&K, which includes Jammuites, Kashmiri Pandits, and others.
It was a legislator of his political party, National Conference, namely Mohammed Akbar Lone, who raised “Pakistan Zindabad” slogans in the Assembly house in Jammu itself at the time when an operation to flush out Jaish militants from the Sunjuwan Army camp in Jammu was in progress. Kundan Kashmiri said that these Pakistan advocate Kashmiri leaders seek proof of surgical and air strikes in PoK and Pakistan, describe the Pakistan Prime Minister as a statesman, and are not ready to believe that over 40 CRPF personnel were martyred in a fidayeen attack on the national highway passing through Pulwama district. They threaten to break Jammu and Kashmir from the Indian domain if Article 35A and Article 370 are repealed, question accession, demand a separate Prime Minister for Jammu and Kashmir, object to colonies for ex-servicemen, and oppose the one-place settlement of Kashmiri Pandits in the valley, who have a history of more than five thousand years in Kashmir. They are tax violators, raise tails as long as concessions keep flowing to them, and do all that terrorists and separatists do without taking up arms.
President KPC stated that they have actually lost their representative character and public acceptance. They enjoy the loaves of power for nothing, but once they are out of power, it is difficult to differentiate them from separatists.
These so-called Kashmir-centric leaders and separatists are running an enterprise and milking New Delhi with renewed strategies. When they are in power, they seemingly support India, but once out of it, anti-India rants become their rock song. In fact, these so-called mainstream political parties in the valley become more vocal and vociferous than the secessionists and take even dangerous overtures by crossing all demarcation lines. Kundan Kashmiri, a senior KP leader, stated that the double standards and fundamentalist psyche of these so-called Kashmir-centric political parties like NC and PDP leaders are less nationalist and more fundamentalist and separatist. Hence, it is an appropriate time to ban the NC and its like-minded parts and arrest their leaders, like Farooq and others, which will be in the interest of the country and the peace and progress of Kashmir.
