IDPS Akhnoor organized Annual Day Celebration with zeal and enthusiasm at its premises on sunday. The function named BHARAT 2023 including a series of thematic performances rangeing from devotional to family values, patriotism, religious values, unity in diversity, social issues, impact of mobile phone and many more value based programs. School also honored and appreciated meritorious students.
The Chief Guest of the event, Hon’ble Former MLA, Sh. Rajeev Sharma.
Special guests’ Mr. I.D Soni(State Commissioner Bharat Scouts and Guides), Capt. A.K. Desai(Principal Sanik School Nagotra), Mr. Suminder Singh(M.D. IDPS,Jammu and Member IDPS Society New Delhi), Col. Sunil Sharma, Mr. Swarn Singh(M.D. IDPS,Jammu), Mr. Rajesh Rathore(Principal JK Public School and President JSSC. And Dr. Rakesh Chander (Vice Principal APS Akhnoor).
Esteemed Chairman of IDPS Akhnoor, Mr. Satpaul Sharma, Managing Director, Dr. Dheeraj Sharma, Principal, Dr. KCS Mehta and Vice principal, Mr. Vinay Khajuria received the guests. Commencing a devotional note, the celebration embraced various facets of the society and culture. The teachers along with head boy and Head girl of IDPS Akhnoor received the parents and made them acquainted with their children, through the program.
Welcome address of parents and esteemed guests was delivered by Managing Director, Dr. Dheeraj Sharma.
Annual report of the session was read by Principal Dr. KCS Mehta wherein various achievements, Academics and Co curricular activities were highlighted.

Ist Shanaya Rajput and Madhav Sharma,5. 2 Tanush Attri,6. 3 Dheeraj Singh, 7. 4″ Manharan Sharma, 8. s’h Shruti Rajput, 9. 6th Soham Sharma, 10. 7h Madhav Kalsi and Krishna Langer, 11. 8th Harleen Kour, 12. 9* Adarsh Sharma, 13. 10* Aniket, 14. 11* Humanities Sargam Gautam, 15. 11 Commerce Sneha Gupta, 16. 12* Humanities Diksha, 12th Commerce Jatin Kumar) were facilitated by esteem guests and best performing teachers were also appreciated by presenting them trophies by the chief guests.
Vote of thanks was delivered by Vice principal Mr. Vinay Khajuria.
Program came to an end with Grand finale followed by National Anthem.
The most memorable moments of the function were marked by the precious words and appreciation by the chief guest while addressing the parents.
Overall, the celebration concluded on a happy note encouraging the students to establish further milestones in the journey of success.
