A delegation from the Federation of Trade & Industry of India (FTII), led by its president Dr. Sanjay Bansal, met BJP MP Rajya Sabha (Nominated), Er. Gulam Ali Khatana, to extend their heartfelt congratulations for his dedicated efforts in raising pertinent issues concerning Jammu and Kashmir during the recent Parliament session.
Delegation comprised of Sandeep Mengi, Vice president FTII, Sanjiv Aggarwal, Parshant Singh The delegation expressed their appreciation for MP Khatana’s commitment to advocating for the welfare and development of the region.
Dr. Sanjay Bansal, President of FTII, acknowledged Er. Gulam Ali Khatana’s proactive stance in addressing key concerns that impact the trade and industrial sectors in Jammu and Kashmir.
During the meeting, the delegation highlighted several pressing issues, including the delay in the establishment of a dry port in Jammu, concerns related to turnover incentives, the need for a freight subsidy, granting freehold rights on leased land, and the establishment of a common godown facility at a centralized location. Er. Gulam Ali Khatana assured the FTII delegation that he would actively take up these crucial matters at the appropriate forums.
He emphasized the significance of addressing these challenges to foster economic growth and industrial development in the region.
The interaction concluded with a mutual commitment to continued collaboration between the Federation of Trade & Industry of India and Er. Gulam Ali Khatana to work towards the resolution of these issues and promote the overall welfare of Jammu and Kashmir.
