VBSY: Awareness, government services attract people at Jourian

JAMMU, DECEMBER 23: Jourian witnessed a transformative event with the arrival of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra at Shaheed Shamsher Singh Dy. Comdt., Govt. Hr. Sec. School. The town resonated with the spirit of progress as the Swagat Committee and local luminaries welcomed the symbolic VBSY Van.
Students showcased their talents and government officials engaged with the public to highlight various schemes. The Hon’ble PM’s message on the VBSY Van inspired the town to pledge towards making India a developed nation by 2047.
Amidst the fervour, health camps held at Panchayat Ghar Darsopur, Block Miran Sahib played a vital role. They offered essential healthcare services, including NCD and anaemia screenings, TB checks and counselling.
Beneficiaries were informed about government schemes like Janani Suraksha Yojana and Ayushman Golden Cards, with free medicines distributed. These initiatives aim to improve overall health and well-being of the masses.
Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra continued its journey, reaching Panchayat Kalyanpur, Jhiri where the caravan of hope was warmly welcomed, attracting a significant public gathering. The event successfully raised awareness about government welfare schemes, fostering citizen participation through “Jan Bhagidari.” Under the guidance of BMO Marh, Dr. Jyoti Bhau, similar health facilities were also provided here to the public. Similar events unfolded in panchayat Chak Bhagwana, Block Bhalwal Brahmana.
