Akhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti celebrates “Geeta Jayanti” as Mahotsav

Devotees of Sanatan Dharma under the banner of Akhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti celebrated “Geeta Jayanti” as “Mahotsav” of 7 days (17th to 23rd December) in many parts of Jammu to spread the message of Lord Krishna.
Today, volunteers of Akhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti, Jammu Kashmir organized one function in Jammu City. The occasion was graced by Sh. Sunil Sharma, National Co-ordinator of Akhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti alongwith Prachar Pramukh of different Districts. Function Started with poojan of the holy Granth “Shrimad Bhagwad Geeta”. Thereafter chanting of Shlokas of different Chapters of Shrimad Bhagwad Geeta with full enthusiasm and Aarti of the Granth with Bhog to the Granth.
Speaking on the occasion the National Co-ordinator of the Samiti Sunil Sharma expressed that Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta is the need of the hour. Sharma informed that over the years, many initiatives have been launched by Akhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti to expand the knowledge of the sacred scripture- Bhagwat Geeta which can infuse the feelings of love for humanity and God in every body. For the last 13 years Akhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti launched one more service towards society i.e. free distribution of Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta Granth ( not book) in the society to spread the message of Lord Krishna on the directions and teachings of Bhrahmgyani Guruji. This year samiti distributed copies of shrimad Bhagwad Geeta to the heads of many Institutions of Jammu to keep the same in the library of the Institutions for the benefit of the students.
Mr. Sharma stressed upon daily reading of Shrimad bhagwad Geeta by all for overall self development and added that greatest quality of Bhagwad Geeta is that it prompts an individual to think, to take fair and right decision, to look at life differently and refreshingly without surrendering ones identity.
In the last Vipan Sharma Sr. Member of Margdarshak Mandal of Akhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti expressed to the audience how to practically apply the teachings of Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta in day-to-day life and attain maximum happiness in reality. After religious disclosure “Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta” was distributed to the Heads of Naveen Shiksha Kendra High School Channi Himmat, and A. S. N Higher Secondary School, youngsters and housewives present in the colourful ceremony of Geeta Jayanti Mahotsav. Sanjeev Kumar learned expert from Punjab lauded the efforts of the Akhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti for organizing Geeta Jayanti as Mahotsav.
Among other prominent personalities who attended todays Mahotsav namely Devinder Sharma, , Jai Krishan Sharma and others.
