UDHAMPUR, Dec 21
Commissioner Secretary Cooperatives, ARI & Trainings Departments, and Mission Director of Holistic Agriculture Development Program (HADP), Yasha Mudgul, today chaired a comprehensive meeting here to assess the physical and financial progress on various projects and schemes being executed under HADP in Agriculture and allied sectors in Udhampur district.
Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai, Chief Planning Officer, Mudassir Yaqoob Zargar and other officers from line departments participated in the meeting.
During her address, Commissioner Secretary highlighted the significant strides made through HADP initiative in establishing a robust and profitable agricultural ecosystem. She called upon the officers from various departments to ensure effective implementation within their respective domains, emphasizing the importance of farmers benefiting from these schemes.
Yasha Mudgul ensured an in-depth assessment of progress towards achieving targets and sensitizing farmers about newly approved interventions under HADP. She directed the officers to streamline the implementation process, aiming to amplify the advantages for farmers. She asked the concerned for swift approval of loans under allied department schemes, emphasizing a proactive approach to meet farmers’ financial requirements and improve their overall well-being.
Recognizing the importance of awareness programs, Commissioner Secretary asked the officers to conduct outreach initiatives to educate stakeholders and communities about the plan’s benefits, fostering a commitment towards sustainable agricultural growth.
Earlier, Chief Agriculture Officer, Sanjay Anand, presented an overview of the achievements made under the Holistic Agriculture Development Plan within the district. The meeting delved into various crucial aspects of the plan’s implementation.
