Dogra Seva Sambhal Trust took the initiative to empower the local community by organizing a comprehensive workshop in Gangyal, a collaborative effort with the Ministry of Labor and Employment and seven other departments. The workshop aimed at addressing the unemployment concerns among individuals aged 18 to 45, both men and women. Former MLC Vibhodh Gupta and former Deputy Mayor Baldev Singh Baloria inaugurated the event, emphasizing the importance of self-reliance.
The registration process for participants was initiated during the workshop, with a strong focus on enabling them to become self-sufficient. Baloria highlighted that prior awareness camps were conducted at five locations to educate and inform the attendees. Today’s gathering allowed the unemployed individuals to benefit from various government schemes, with on-the-spot registration to access the skill department’s assistance. Pankaj Rastogi, the Regional Director, added his presence to the workshop, underscoring the significance of the initiative. Each participant received Rs 250 from the government as a token of support. Baloria commended the government’s continuous efforts to eradicate unemployment and stressed the importance of making every citizen self-reliant.
Department officials seized the opportunity to inform attendees about schemes such as the Atal Pension Scheme, Worker Education, and Technical Education. This ensured that individuals could fully comprehend and avail themselves of the benefits offered by these programs. Baloria expressed gratitude to Dogra Seva Sambhal Trust and all participating departments for their dedicated efforts in organizing such a meaningful event.
The event also saw the presence of prominent figures, including Vivek Sharma, Ashok Chaudhary, JP Vehra, CH Tour, Manjeet Singh, Parshotam Singh Pathania, and BJP leaders Rekha Mahajan, Ranjit Singh, and Ajay Pratap Singh.
