Secretary, Transport Department, G. Prasanna Ramaswamy today spearheaded the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in the picturesque Gool Block of Ramban District .
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra initiative in Ramban has unfolded across 120 panchayats, embodying the UT Government’s resolute dedication towards rural development and the effective implementation of key welfare schemes.
Under the discerning guidance of Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, the Yatra unfolded with a distinct focus on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for extensive awareness and optimal utilization of government initiatives in remote corners.
As the day progressed, Administrative Secretary Ramaswamy conducted meticulous inspections at stalls set up by different government departments, delving into schemes related to ICDS, agriculture, health, and social welfare. Engaging directly with officers on the ground, he meticulously reviewed the strides made under different schemes.
The daylong event encapsulated the voices and triumphs of beneficiaries who shared their personal stories through the poignant ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani’ platform, underlining the tangible impact of government initiatives.
The ceremonial arrival of the Viksit Bharat Yatra Van symbolized the government’s ongoing commitment to public welfare, with participants attentively listening to a recorded message from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
A pivotal moment during the day involved the administration of the ‘Hamara Sankalp Viksit Bharat’ pledge to officials, PRI members, and citizens, fostering a collective commitment to development objectives. Cultural programs, eloquent speeches by students from various schools, and the ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani’ testimonials collectively aimed to sensitize the local populace about the overarching goals of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.
Post the Yatra’s conclusion, Administrative Secretary Ramaswamy extended his engagement to individuals and deputations, attentively addressing public concerns and demands. Active participation of BDC Chairpersons, Sarpanchs, Panchs, and the general public was observed throughout the dayS Accompanied by senior officers, including Additional Deputy Commissioner Harbans Lal Sharma and SDM Tanveer-Ul-Majid, Administrative Secretary Ramaswamy reinforced the government’s unwavering commitment to not only acknowledging but actively addressing genuine concerns, thereby catalyzing tangible progress at the grassroots level.
