Jammu and Kashmir BJP General Secretary and former MLC, Vibodh Gupta, addressed a large gathering of people in Akhnoor town under the ‘Booth Jan Samvad Abhiyan’ programme. He was joined by BJP district president Rajeev Sharma and other leaders.
Vibodh Gupta, Incharge of Booth Jan Samvad Abhiyan, expressed satisfaction over the public response to the ‘Booth Jan Samvad Abhiyaan’ programmes. He shared that 2000 programmes in the UT have been held till date, and more than 2 lakh 15 thousand people directly participated in the last one and a half months in different parts of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that the motive of organizing such programmes at the booth level is not just to highlight the achievements of the Modi government but also to identify people who could not be registered earlier and help them become beneficiaries of one scheme or another for the future.
Gupta mentioned that the massive participation of the people in the programmes itself speaks volumes about the good governance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The people want to listen to him, support him, and see him as PM for a third consecutive term in 2024.
Vibodh Gupta said that PM Modi has become the first and only choice of the people due to the splendid works undertaken by him in the last about ten years. The people have developed full faith in his government, as they themselves witnessed widespread changes in every sphere in all matters and wish to see him continuing as PM to take the country to new heights of development, peace, prosperity, and public welfare.
Vibodh Gupta said that the people in Jammu, in particular, had suffered a lot due to the appeasement policies of the earlier governments of Congress, NC, and PDP. They had a very bitter experience for seventy years when these parties were in power. “Narendra Modi government, took one decision after the other, with the focused motive of ending discrimination and treating all regions equally, without gender or religious consideration”, Vibodh Gupta said and added that the days of miseries and uncertainty for the people of Jammu and Kashmir are over now. They are witnessing massive development in their areas and the extension of various welfare schemes at the doorsteps of the poor and needy.
Vibodh Gupta further said that the splendid victory of BJP in recently held elections in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh indicates that people across the country have made up their minds to defeat the parties promoting corruption and dynastic rule and want to strengthen BJP and vote en bloc in its favor.
Rajeev Sharma said that the development projects of the Modi government have bridged the gap between urban and rural areas. The people living even in far-off and remote places are well connected through means of communication and travel. He said that the union government has proved, time and again, that it believes in taking everyone together in nation-building and fully justified its line of working, which is Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwaas.
Sardar Gurpal Singh, while speaking as the main speaker in the programs, said that what the Modi government did in just about ten years could not be done in seventy years by Congress and other non-BJP governments. He said it is, in fact, the PM Narendra Modi-led government which has familiarized the people of the country with real development and social welfare. He counted dozens of welfare schemes that have transformed the lives of crores of citizens.
Smt Sharda Bhau, DDC member, Municipality President Sanjay Saraf, B.B.Gupta, district Chief Spokesperson, Jagdish Bhagat, ex-District President, Sham Singh Mandal President, Capt. Sobha Ram, Distt Vice President, Suresh Gupta, City President Rajat Sharma, State Spokesman BJYM, also addressed the program.
