District Doda is currently experiencing a transformative wave through the ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. The initiative spans various blocks, including Doda, Dali Udhaynpur, Bhaderwah, Gundna, Chilly Pingal, and Jakyas. The primary objective is to raise awareness about government initiatives aimed at the holistic development of the region.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has left an indelible mark on numerous panchayats, such as Udhaynpur, Katihand, Dhara-B, Jodhpur, Manthala, Dandi Kansar, Gadaher-B, Cherrote, Challer, Sanwara, and Chilly Paine. Residents displayed overwhelming enthusiasm and passion, welcoming the yatra van with vibrant cultural programs, sports activities, and showcases of various government-sponsored schemes on big LED screens.
Each designated panchayat witnessed the warm welcome of the yatra, featuring flagship schemes like PM KISAN, Vishwakarma, Suraksha Bima Yojna, Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, JJM, Poshan Abhiyaan, and more. Representatives from various government departments highlighted these schemes, fostering enthusiasm and active participation in the nation’s development.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra not only showcases the rich cultural heritage of the region but also serves as a platform for different government departments to demonstrate their flagship schemes and services. The event, featuring pledge ceremonies, health checkup camps, quiz competitions, and cultural activities, received a warm welcome at all designated panchayats. Frontline workers and local residents gathered to celebrate, with the honorable Prime Minister’s message passionately screened on big LED screens, conveying the latest information about government-sponsored schemes. This collective effort empowers locals by informing them about various government-sponsored schemes and their benefits.
