The ‘Certificate Course in Sanskrit Language’ promise to provide a unique opportunity for individuals to engage with the rich heritage of Sanskrit. Non-Formal Sanskrit Education Centre 2023-24 Begins at Government College for Women, Parade Ground, Jammu. on December 5, 2023 in collaboration with the Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi, proudly inaugurated its Non-Formal Sanskrit Education Centre for the academic year 2023-24 in a ceremony marked by esteemed guests and a commitment to preserving the ancient language.
The inaugural program, held at the GCW, Parade Ground, Jammu campus, witnessed the participation of prominent dignitaries including Dr Shreedhar Mishra, Director of CSU, Ranbir Campus, Jammu, Dr. S.P. Sarswat, Principal of GCW, Parade, Jammu, Dr Madan Kumar Jha, Assistant Professor of Education Department, CSU, Ranbir Campus, Jammu, Mr Biswarup Bej and Dr Surinder Kumar, Lecturer of Sanskrit Department, GCW, Parade. The event was meticulously coordinated by Dr. Mamta Sharma, HoD, Sanskrit and Mr Biswarup Bej, a dedicated Sanskrit Instructor at GCW, Parade. One distinct course was unveiled during the inauguration, catering to a diverse audience that includes students, staff, faculty, and their family members. The ‘Certificate Course in Sanskrit Language’ promise to provide a unique opportunity for individuals to engage with the rich heritage of Sanskrit. The program’s schedule encompassed a variety of enlightening and spiritual activities, including Vedic Chanting, the invocation of light with sacred mantras, a soulful Welcome Song, and an informative introduction by Dr. Mamta Sharma.
Dr. S.P. Sarswat presented his views on Sanskrit language to boost the enthusiasm of the students.
Dr Shreedhar Mishra, Director of CSU, Ranbir Campus encouraged the students about Sanskrit language. Dr Madan Kumar Jha presented his views that how useful is Sanskrit in today’s time.
As a symbol of support for the learners, the distinguished guests distributed essential course materials and books to the eager students. GCW, Parade, Jammu’s Sanskrit Education Centre represents a commendable effort to promote the study of Sanskrit and its profound cultural significance.
The centre aspires to create a platform for individuals to connect with this ancient language and explore its timeless wisdom. Dr. Mamta Sharma welcomed all the guests and Dr. Surinder Kumar thanked all the guests.
