Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Saloni Rai led a comprehensive review meeting aimed at evaluating the progress of projects under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) across Udhampur district.
The meeting held at Mini Conference Hall within the DC Office Complex, brought together officers and field functionaries involved in JJM coordination.
At the onset, Executive Engineer Ashok Kumar Sharma Jal Shakti Department provided an update on the physical advancements across various JJM projects district-wide.
During the meeting, the DC diligently scrutinized the progress of all JJM projects, emphasizing both their physical and financial status, and the adherence to recommended quality standards verified by a third-party assessment. The executing agencies were directed to escalate efforts, ensuring timely completion of all JJM projects within the stipulated timelines.
The DC instructed the third-party assessors to conduct timely inspections and submit comprehensive reports. Encouraging coordinated efforts, the DC urged officers to establish component-wise timelines for the fulfillment of distinct water supply schemes across the district.
