To cover all the eligible beneficiaries under Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), a special camp in connection with ABHA was organized at New Era Public School Doda by Health Department Doda. The camp was held on the directions of the Block Medical Officer Ghat Dr Ab Gafoor Ahmed, which aims to cover all the citizens under Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. Speaking on the occasion, the health staff asked the people to avail the benefits of such camps as the purpose of these camps is to provide services to the common people at their door steps. They said that Aadhar Card is the most significant identity document of a person in India and a gateway to avail any kind of benefit under the schemes rolled out by the Government.
They also threw light on the benefit of ABHA (Ayushman Bharat Health Account) Card which was previously known as Health ID. “It helps individuals to access healthcare benefits and store their medical information digitally in one place. ABHA health card benefits users by letting them enjoy healthcare services, including registration, appointment scheduling with a doctor, and storing electronic medical records. The Health ID card can also be linked to multiple health schemes and insurance plans, providing various benefits. Therefore, a Health ID card is one-stop identification for all healthcare-related activities. It makes it easier for individuals to access and manage their overall wellness,” they said.
The team comprising Ms Shariqa Anjum (CHO/MLHP), Ms Monika Devi (FMPHW) and Ms Rinku Devi (FMPHW) attended the camp from the health department, who generated around 50 ABHA Ids on the spot and generated mass awareness on the occasion.

Principal of the school, Nishad Ahmed Tak who was also present on the occasion thanked the BMO Ghat and the health team for organizing such a camp in their school, which would surely benefit the beneficiaries in the time to come, in which safer and efficient digital health records shall be maintained.
