On the day 7 of the ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), the scheduled activities commenced today in different Panchayats of district Kishtwar with enthusiastic participation of public and PRIs from the adjoining areas.
The VBSY took the central stage when the IEC Vans transversed through Bugrana and Barhoti area of block Drabshalla and pyt. Dharbadan and Anjole of Block Thakrie.
Public participation was also observed in far flung Panchayat Mulwarwan and Basmeena of Block Warwan today along with the scheduled activities under the close supervision of Nodal Officer in these areas. The Yatra was accorded a warm welcome by PRIs, Senior Citizens, Officials and local residents at all the locations and were engaged with knowledge enriching audio-video material screened on Special IEC Vans. They listened attentively to a recorded video message from the Prime Minister, emphasizing the significance of the campaign. Participants took the Viksit Sankalp Bharat pledge, affirming their commitment to holistic national development.
The locals in these Panchayats were provided information about different government schemes and initiatives.
Special Medical camps were also organized to provide health services to the local people at their doorsteps. During the day long events, students also showcased their artistic talents through mesmerizing cultural performances wherein local Dance and Musical folklore exhibited the diverse cultural heritage, fostering a sense of unity and celebration among the spectators. Beneficiaries also expre-ssed their successful journey of transition in the special segment “Meri Kahani, Meri Zubani” where they speak about the positive impact of flagship programmes of the government on their lives.
Earlier, The day before VBS Yatra was taken to panchayat Bhadat,Filler-A,Dugga,Filler B, Margi and Choidraman of district Kishtwar.
