The industrial visit orchestrated by the Department of Computer Science Engineering at Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) to AVI Softwares in Channi Himat, Jammu, stands out as a commendable initiative, tailored specifically for the 7th, 5th, and 3rd-semester students.
Recognizing the pivotal role of industrial visits in engineering education, the department aimed to bridge the theoretical-practical gap, exposing students to the forefront of technological advancements. Avinash Kumar Sharma, the Director of AVI Softwares, played a pivotal role during the visit, delivering a comprehensive briefing on the company’s inner workings.
This encompassed ongoing projects and a spectrum of services ranging from Website Designing, Computer Training, and Online Software Applications to Search Engine Optimization and Offline Software Applications. The interactive sessions with former YCET students, Muskan and Jatin, added a personal touch to the visit. Their shared experiences served not only to motivate the current students but also to underscore the practical importance of active engagement in such industrial experiences for future opportunities.
