The Health Department, in collaboration with the District Administration Kishtwar today Kick started the second phase of pioneering initiative called *”DOCTORS APKE DWAR” by organising a free medical camp at Keshwan Kishtwar. The initiative aims at providing comprehensive medical screening services to remote villages in District Kishtwar.
During the Medical camp, 550 patients were examined, while 26 Ultrasound screenings were done by Specialists including Gynaecologist, Physician, Surgeon, Opthalmologist and Dental Surgeon. The primary objective of this initiative is to bridge the healthcare gap between urban and rural areas, with a particular emphasis on reaching the most vulnerable populations who face limited access to medical resources. Meanwhile, the public of Keshwan thanked Dr. Devansh Yadav (IAS) Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr. M.Y.Mir CMO Kishtwar and Dr Sat Lal Manhas BMO Kishtwar for fulfilling the aspirations of the public.
