Theft case solved; 07 Stolen motorcycles recovered

Police team from Rajouri Police Station of Rajouri district has solved case of theft with accused persons involved in the act have been arrested. The stolen motorcycles have been recovered from the possessions of arrested accused persons.
Police said that, one, Syed Ibrar Hussain S/O Sabar Hussain Shain, lodged a written complaint before police that some unidentified persons have stolen his motorcycle bearing Regd. No. JK11E 6764 from Kheora, near mosque.
Accordingly a case in FIR 528/2023 U/Ss 379 IPC was registered in Police Station Rajouri and investigation was started by a police team headed by SHO Aejaz Wani. During investigation one suspect who happened to be juvenile (name withheld) was rounded up, who during interrogation confessed the commission of crime alonwith his one associate namely, Mohd Saleem; S/O Mohd Yousif; R/O Sarano.
Both the accused were arrested in the instant case after following due procedure of law. So far, on their disclosure as many as 07 Motorcycles, including the one theft from Kheora, have been recovered and seized in the case.
Further investigation into the matter is going on and there is likelihood of more recoveries as investigation moves on.
