DIET Doda hosts Folk music, District-Level-Role-Play competition to promote Adolescence Education Program

District Institute of Education and Training Doda, in collaboration with Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education today organised District-Level Role Play and Folk Song and Dance Competition to promote National Population/Adolescence Education Program, Jammu.
Chief Education Officer Parshotam Das Gouria inaugurated the event as the Chief Guest. It was a grand success held under guidance and supervision of DIET Principal Sandhra Malhotra. A total of 10 teams from different Zones of District Doda participated in the twin events. In the Role -Play event, the Team from Government Higher Secondary School (Girls) Doda emerged the winner, while the Team from Government Higher Secondary School (Boys) Doda won Folk Song/Dance competition.
The event was anchored by Basit Masood Suharwardy. Jaffer Hussain Zarger, Sr.Lect, Physics and Ajit Babu, Lecturer Chemistry were Jury for Role-play and Naseem-ul-haq Butt, a prominent figure in the field of music and singing was the Jury for Folk Song/Dance.
The event was managed by the Coordinator of the program, Mussarat Jahan Mintoo, Sr. Lect, DIET; Doda presented the Vote of thanks.
The event concluded with presenting of prizes to winners and certificates of participation to winners. She extended the Vote of thanks to the Principal for her Guidance that encouraged them to do their Best.
Special thanks to Basit for his efforts towards anchoring the event. His own ideas & elegance of explanation was Highly Appreciated. She extended sincere gratitude to all colleagues (DIET Faculty) for their cooperation who worked hard for smooth conduct of the event.
