To ensure saturation of flagship schemes of the government, Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra camp was today organized at Panchayat Halqa Goshan and Holiyal Drass in Kargil district.
BDC Chairman, Drass Noor Mohammad participated in the program as chief guest. BDO Drass/Day Nodal Officer Shahid Sultan, AEE PDD, TSO Drass, Water Testing experts from Jal Shakti, Health, ICDS, Horticulture department, Officials of Agriculture and representatives of other departments took part in the program.
During the event, villagers were briefed on various beneficiary-oriented schemes designed to enhance their lives. The camp also focused on Jal Jeevan Mission initiatives, offering guidance and support to mitigate water-related challenges in the region. One of the aspects of the event was the provision of direct beneficiary-oriented benefits to the villagers on the spot.
Besides others, the ICDS Department also informed the people about beneficiary-oriented schemes to the people. This included the distribution of various benefits and resources designed to uplift the community and improve their quality of life. During the program, various government departments distributed pamphlets showcasing diverse welfare schemes to the participants.
During the program, BDO Drass, Shahid Sultan, briefed the general public about the goal of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and underlined its mission. The officials expressed gratitude to participants for their enthusiastic involvement. The Viksit Bharat pledge was also taken by the participants.
