Only National Conference can secure future of J&K: Sunil

Leaders and social activists from various political parties on Monday joined the National Conference during a function held at Panchayat Mand East Block Tikri in presence of District President, Udhampur, Sunil Verma, District Secretary Pavitar Singh, District President Capt Balbir Singh (Retd) and Treasurer Channa Ram Sethi.
The joining programme was organized by Block President Tikri, Manmohan Verma and Block secretary Swaran Singh.
Among those who joined the Party fold include Romail Singh, ch Zakin Ali, ch Mohidin, Mohd Farooq Khan, Ajeet Singh, Hazi BAshir Mohammad, Nirmal Singh, Abdul Sadeeq, Suram Chand, Sultan Mohd, Romesh Singh, Abhishek Sharma, Yash Paul, Anvar Hussain, Rakesh Kumar, Kuldeep chand, MUshtaq Ahmad, Arjun Singh, Arun Singh and others.
While addressing the gathering, Sunil Verma welcomed the newly joined members into party fold, congratulating them for having taken the right decision to join the most secular party of Jammu and Kashmir.
He said that the BJP Govt has miserably failed to stand on the aspirations of people of Jammu and Kashmir who are already struggling for survival amid terrorism, price hike and inflation and their miseries are multiplying with each passing day.
Asserting that only National Conference is capable of securing the future of the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory and its people, Sunil said today there is a need to further strengthen party at all levels.
He said that the party cadre including the new entrants will have to work relentlessly at the grass roots level to expose the anti-people especially the anti-youth policies of the BJP Govt that have brought only miseries for the common man.
The senior NC leader Sunil Verma appealed to the people of district Udhampur to strengthen the hands of Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah and support National Conference in the upcoming polls in order to ensure the equitable development of Jammu and Kashmir and the welfare of its people.
