AJMER (Rajasthan), Nov 20
Bali Bhagat, senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Health and Medical Education Minister of Jammu and Kashmir has urged the people of Rajasthan to use their precious right to franchise by voting for BJP in the upcoming Assembly polls to get rid of the miseries thrust upon them by the Congress Government.
He expressed this while addressing a meeting organized jointly by BJP’s Shakti Kendra, Booth President and Arya Mandal Prabhari Ajmer in connection with the election campaigning by the party for Assembly elections.
The former minister highlighted that during the five-year Congress rule in Rajasthan, the state has witnessed a shocking 19 instances of paper leaks in various recruitment and selection processes, exposing a deep-rooted scam that has shattered the aspirations of countless educated youth. This unprecedented scandal, the largest of its kind in India, highlights the Congress party’s blatant disregard for meritocracy and its collusion with the paper leak mafia, he added.
“The systematic leakage of exam papers has not only deprived deserving candidates of their rightful opportunities but has also instilled a deep sense of disillusionment and betrayal among the educated youth of Rajasthan. The Congress government’s failure to curb this rampant corruption has exposed its inherent apathy towards the state’s future generations,” he added.
The former minister has asked the people in Rajasthan to vote for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to ensure double engine growth with the same party’s rule at the Centre and State. He said that the Congress rule in Rajasthan has only multiplied the problems of the common people of Rajasthan thus bringing this state to a precarious situation. He said that the Congress party kept the development and welfare of the people on the back bench and instead preferred to indulge in criticizing and fighting with the Centre for its every welfare measure which ultimately resulted in loss to the people of Rajasthan. He asserted that once BJP returns to power in Rajasthan the Lotus brand engines at Delhi the functioning of double engine will ensure maximum development and welfare of this state and its people.
Bali Bhagat castigated the Congress for claiming that four generations of the Gandhi family have contributed a lot for the country’s development and said that the reality is that the Gandhis are cut off from the ground reality and that is why they cannot understand the pain of the people, not to talk of addressing it.
