The week long program of All India Cooperative Week concluded successfully here today in town hall Doda. The participants representing different cooperative societies and organizations had converged to celebrate and promote the cooperative movement in the region.
The week-long event featured seminars, workshops, and cultural programs aimed at raising awareness about the importance of cooperatives in driving economic growth and empowering local communities.
Earlier, the valedictory event kicked off with the lighting of the traditional Lamp followed by cultural dances presented by students of Doda Town schools. Besides, a debate competition was also organized and students participated with great enthusiasm. The event also provided a platform to the cooperative members to exchange ideas, share best practices, and discuss challenges facing the sector. Representatives from government agencies and financial institutions were also present to offer support and guidance to cooperative societies.
DDC, Harvinder Singh and SSP, Abdul Qayoom graced the closing ceremony at Town Hall Doda. DC Doda, while speaking at the closing ceremony, emphasized the role of cooperative societies in fostering inclusive development and addressing social and economic inequalities. He also highlighted the need for continued collaboration and cooperation among all stakeholders to further strengthen the cooperative movement in the District.
Overall, the All India Cooperative Week in Doda was hailed as a resounding success, with participants expressing their commitment to advance the cooperative cause by working towards a more equitable and sustainable future for all.
