The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India is observing Swachhata Pakhwada “Swachhata Hi Sewa” by organizing numerous public welfare programs under this special campaign.
National Highways Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL), Regional Office, Jammu also organized a free medical check-up for the children living in “BALGRAN – A Charitable Home for Destitute Children”. A team of doctors conducted Dental, Eye and general Check-up of the inmates and provided medicines according to the need.
The campaign was organized under the leadership of Director Health Services, Jammu. The Dental Check-up for children was led by Dr. Saira Shahid, Dental Surgeon (Govt. Hospital, Gandhi Nagar). Anshuman Kerni, Sr. Dental Technician (Govt. Hospital, Gandhi Nagar) were deputed during this campaign.
An Eye Specialist Doctor Vabita Bhagat, along with his team Rajinder Sharma (Sr. Pharmacist), Vijay Sharma (Sr. Lab Technician) & Ms. Jyoti (Ophthalmic Assistant) focused on children’s eye health condition and required treatment.
The humble support of NHIDCL shall continue with more and more intensity, commitment, and dedication in the times to come. With our hands open and extended, we pledge to continue our efforts to meet the aspiration of our people through mutual development program and growth.
