DC Udhampur inaugurates civic works in MC Ward No-6

UDHAMPUR, Nov 16
Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Saloni Rai today visited Ward No-6 and inaugurated five newly constructed lanes and drains, along with tile works in the municipal ward. Councillor Vikram Singh Slathia was also present at the inauguration. Interacting with locals, the DC highlighted the ongoing government initiatives aimed at upgrading lanes and drains in Udhampur. Emphasizing environmental responsibility, she urged residents to avoid single-use plastics and polythene to maintain cleanliness in the lane and drains.
The DC extended congratulations to the area’s residents, acknowledging the fulfillment of a long-standing demand. The DC encouraged locals to take advantage of various welfare schemes and programs launched by both the Union Territory and central governments.
