Adv Purnima Sharma, Spokesperson BJP J&K and former Deputy Mayor Jammu, expressed deep grief over the tragic accident in Doda district that claimed the lives of 38 people and left 17 others injured.
In a statement issued today, the senior BJP leader conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls. She urged the government to provide the best medical care to the injured and offer adequate compensation to the families of the victims.
Purnima expressed concern over the alarming frequency of such accidents in Doda district, emphasizing the need for thorough investigations to identify the root causes of these tragedies. She also stressed the importance of raising awareness about road safety among the general public, especially among the youth. She urged everyone to follow traffic rules and regulations and to be careful while driving.
