Jammu: 06-09-23: National Conference Provincial Joint Secretary Ankush Abrol and Zonal Secretary and Coordinator Jammu District (Urban) Dr. Vikas Sharma today met a section of youth and sounded them to get ready for the upcoming Local Bodies and Panchayat elections adding that in the coming time, all have to give a united fight and make the National Conference candidates victorious supporting and voting for them.
Addressing the Youths, Ankush Abrol said that we will have to wake up, raise our voice vociferously for our snatched right to restore statehood for Jammu and Kashmir. He further said that what we got and what we lost in the last five years also needs to be considered,simultaneously adding that except desperation, inflation, unemployment, joblessness and arrogant administration, we have got nothing worth mentioning.
Taking a dig at the highhandedness of LG Govt, he said that at this time, everyone is worried about installation Smart Meters by removing digital meters without taking the public in confidence who is clamoring day in and day out for getting inflated power bills, but the LG administration does not care about the genuine grievances of the people, rather meeting out step motherly treatment to them.
While addressing Dr Vikas Sharma said that in the present scenario of misgovernance, the youth are feeling disgruntled and ditched by the present government which is not ready to listen to the problems of the young generation, who are the future of the country.
He further said that what to talk of getting jobs, even youth have to face a lot of difficulties even in taking admission in University; he rued adding that at present, the admission of undergraduates is going on, but the students having scored above 75% marks are not even being given a chance to choose their favorite subjects. What a pathetic predicament of our students seeking admissions in University, he added.
He lambasted those dividing people in the name of religion and region. He said that the time has come to defeat such forces and strengthen the hands of Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Jenab Omar Abdullah for lasting peace in the Union Territory.
