Kannada actor Kichcha Sudeepa has said that he will not contest the Karnataka Elections for the BJP and he will only campaign for the saffron party.
On the threat letter, Sudeep said that he will give a befitting reply to the sender and added, “Yes, I have received a threat letter and I know who sent it to me. I know it is from someone in the film industry. I will give a befitting reply to them. I will work in favour of those who stand by my side in my tough times.”
Kiccha Sudeep received an alleged threat letter amid the speculation over him joining the saffron party on Tuesday. After the actor’s manager received the letter, the police registered a case based on his complaint.
According to Media report, Kichcha Sudeep’s manager Jack Manju got a letter from an unknown person on social media. Upon opening the message, the manager was shocked to find the letter which threatened that the actor’s ‘private videos’ would be released.
Following this, the actor’s manager gave a complaint to Puttenahalli police. The police registered a case under various sections of the Indian Penal Code. The police also started the investigation.
