A 19-year-old boy died today in a road accident in Nagrota area of city outskirts.
According to police sources, the boy identified as Adil Saleem son of Mohd Saleem, resident of Ward number 8, Teli Basti (Bari Brahmana) was on its way from Udhampur to Jammu on a bike bearing registration number JK02CK-0795 when on reaching near S-Morh in Nagrota area, his two-wheeler slipped on the road.
They said, in the mishap, Adil received serious injuries and was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors.
The body of the deceased was sent for postmortem while Nagrota Police had taken cognizance of the matter.
