On behalf of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Memorial Committee Ward No. 12 RS Pura, a program was organized at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chowk RS Pura to pay tribute to Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh Rajguru and Sukhdev on the occasion of their martyrdom day.
During the program, former minister Chaudhary Shyamlal was present as the chief guest, besides Satpal Pappi, chairman of Municipal Committee RS Pura, councillor Ashok Kumar, social worker Inder Sudan, Hemraj Khajuria and a large number of local people reached Shaheed Bhagat Singh.
Offering flower garlands on the statue paid an authentic tribute to them. During this, Indira Memorial High School students instilled a sense of patriotism among the people present by presenting many programs based on the lives of martyrs. On this occasion, former minister Chaudhary Shamlal appealed to the youth present that they should always follow the path shown by the martyrs and work for the country’s welfare. He said that those who lay down their lives to protect the country become immortal forever.
The former minister honoured the children who presented a better program during this! Many local people, including BJP General Secretary Akash Chopra, Omprakash Advani, Kundan Lal Sharma, Devendra Sharma, were present on this occasion.
