Two arrested with heroine in J&K

According to Doda Police, in January 2022, PS Bhaderwah has registered a case under FIR No 8/2022 U/S 8/21 NDPS Act in which two grams of heroin was recovered from the possession of one accused, namely Umaiz Manzoor S/O Manzoor Ahmed R/O Qilla Mohalla Bhaderwah.

During further investigation, while working on a backward link to reach up to the root level, accused Umaiz Manzoor was interrogated to ascertain forward/backward links, during investigation one more name was surfaced who too was arrested today by a team of Police Station Bhaderwah and recovered Heroin (Chitta) from his possession the accused is identified as Adil Faried S/O Fareed Ahmed R/O Dunya, Bhaderwah.

Accused Adil Faried is a notorious drug supplier of Heroin (Chitta) in Bhaderwah Town, and he was on the run for the last two months after the commission of a crime.

Further investigation into the case is still going on, police official Said
When contacted, SHO Bhaderwah Insp Jatinder Singh Rakwal said that eradicating drugs menace in the Bhaderwah area is our priority. Bhaderwah police are working hard day and night. It is pertinent to mention that police station Bhaderwah has registered six NDPS Act FIR in the current year in the last two months.

SHO Bhaderwah also requested to General public of Bhaderwah to share drugs-related information on his mob no. 7006644646 identify of Informer will be kept secret.
