Srinagar Acid Attack Victim Awaits Justice

The victim of an acid attack in Kashmir is waiting for justice. She is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Chennai. Doctors who have done six operations are trying their best to save her left eye, which was burnt.

Arzoo Nisar, the 22-year-old sister of the victim, says that the heart shudders to remember the day of February 1. She said that a businessman turned politician is bearing all the expenses of his treatment. The Jammu and Kashmir government had helped in taking the victim to Chennai. We are grateful to the government for this.

At the same time, the victim’s father, Nisar Sheelu, says that we are waiting for the day when the people who commit the heinous crime will get the harshest punishment. On the other hand, Arzoo says that the sister has had six major and minor operations. We are pleased that the J&K Police has filed a charge sheet against all three criminals. He told me that I had informed my sister that soon, she would get justice.

On the other hand, cousin Sajjad Misgar, who came to Chennai with the victim, says that the doctors try their best to keep her eyesight intact. The doctor has also given stem cell treatment to the victim. The victim’s lawyer Mir Naveed Gul says she is a brave girl.
