Preparations for the programs are in full swing on the occasion of Republic Day in Jammu. The full dress rehearsal was held at Maulana Azad (MA) Stadium in Jammu on Monday. During this, there was tight security outside the MA Stadium and in other areas. On the other hand, soldiers also rehearsed at Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium in Srinagar.
Students from various schools including District Police, CRPF, Armed Police Forces, NCC, Forest Security Forces took part in the march past to the tunes of Kadam Se Kadam Mile Jaa.
The full dress rehearsal was done in a grand manner at MA Stadium. Along with this, the venue and its surrounding areas have been sealed. A colourful program was also presented by the artists. Despite the severe cold, the soldiers showed enthusiasm in the full dress rehearsal before the Republic Day parade in the stadium.
IG Kashmir Vijay Kumar said that the police is keeping an eye on the security arrangements along with the CAPF and the army. Everything is being monitored by drones and other surveillance. Will ensure that Republic Day celebrations are conducted in a peaceful manner.
