Despite giving several notices, the Executive Officer, Municipal Council Kathua, could not ensure the scientific disposal of solid waste. Therefore, the council was asked why not impose environmental compensation in mid-November.

Even after this, a report was given by the Divisional Officer Pollution Control Committee, Kathua, on behalf of the city council for not scientifically disposing of solid waste. In this, garbage was being thrown in the open in Ravi.
