NC likely to take part in delimitation commission meeting on Dec 20

The People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration will hold a meeting of its constituents in the Jammu division on December 21 to discuss several issues, including their reach out to New Delhi and opposition parties regarding abrogation of article 370 sources said here on Friday.

Sources told that the PAGD meeting would be presided over by its presidents and NC Parliamentarian Dr Farooq Abdullah.

They said that the meeting had been convened to discuss several issues, including their reach out to the Central government, civil society members and opposition parties in New Delhi regarding the abrogation of Article 370

They said that the meeting would also discuss further course of action regarding a writ petition filed by its spokesperson M Y Tarigami in the Supreme Court regarding article 370

Sources said they would also discuss the ongoing delimitation process in Jammu and Kashmir and future strategies regarding the same.

Pertinently, this is for the first time that PAGD will hold its meeting in Jammu after it came into being.
