The Government has appointed Dr Shashi S Sudhan, Head of Department Microbiology in the Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu as new Principal of the GMC in addition to her own duties.
Dr Nasib Chand Digra, Principal GMC Jammu was transferred and posted as Secretary (Technical) in the Health and Medical Education Department. His salary will, however, be drawn against the post of the Principal GMC Jammu.
