Charges Framed Against 2 ISI Agents Arrested with fake notes, case going on in NIA Special Court

A special court of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has framed charges against two ISI agents Ashok Kumar and Bilal Ahmed, for being arrested with fake currency notes. In this case, three people were caught with counterfeit notes of more than 80 thousand rupees. Of these, charges have been framed against two at present.

The matter is that Rahul Mahajan, in charge of the Parade Police Outpost in Jammu, was on patrol in the parade and surrounding area on November 6, 2014. Around three o’clock in the afternoon, three people tried to run away after seeing the police near the Brahmin Sabha. All three were caught on this. Among those captured were Bilal Ahmed, resident of Baramulla, Ghulam Mohiyuddin resident of Baramulla and Ashok Kumar, a resident of Udhampur.

Bilal Ahmed had a bag. When this search was done, fake notes of 100 and 500 worth 50 thousand rupees were found out of it. Seventeen thousand rupees were recovered from the possession of Ghulam Mohiuddin. Three boxes were recovered from the possession of Ashok Kumar, on which the name of Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI was written.

Inside a box were pasted six Rs 500 notes and some documents. Inside the second box were also pasted six 500 notes and a diary. Finally, in the third box, eight notes of one thousand rupees were pasted. Some documents were also recovered from this.

All these fake notes were found during the investigation. Police have registered a case against all three. After completion of the study, now the challan is presented. After considering all the aspects related to the case, the court found that it is proved that the accused were using fake currency to promote terror in Jammu and Kashmir at the behest of the ISI.
