Wi-Fi Facility to be Available at 20 more places in Jammu

Jammu Smart City Limited has decided to extend free Wi-Fi service to 20 more places under Smart City Mission to attract tourists and benefit business people, including students. In this regard, JSCL has tied up with LMES for Phase II.

Under this, a Wi-Fi hotspot facility will be provided at 20 more places. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) JSCL Avani Lavasa and Director LMES were present on occasion. The decision to extend the free Wi-Fi service has been taken after the better response to the service launched in the first phase.

Hotspots have been set up at 16 places under phase one. In this 1100 people get benefits daily. More than 4500 people connect to the network every month from these hotspots to KC Plaza, Raghunath Mandir, Mubarak Mandi, Kachhi Chhawni, Indira Chowk.

The facility will be available here in the second phase-

Under the second phase, medical colleges will be provided at Jammu, Railway Station Jammu, Canal Road, Jammu University, Chhani Himmat, Trikuta Nagar, Shastri Nagar and other places.
