The Jammu and Kashmir government has taken vital cognizance of the non-commissioning of duty on time and the unauthorized absence of many employees of the Civil Secretariat during the Corona period. Therefore, the government has directed strict action against the secretariat employees who do not come to the office from November 15. Apart from deducting the salary of such employees, show cause notice will be issued to them. They can also be suspended for not giving a satisfactory answer to the notice. Apart from this, strict guidelines have also been published in working in the offices under the timetable.
On behalf of the General Administrative Department, all the Administrative Secretaries have been asked to provide the attendance report of the employees of the Secretariat at the departmental level to the General Administrative Department from Monday, November 15 till 11 am. For this, instructions have also been given to depute one officer as liaison officer at the department level.
The Liaison Officer will be an officer of the rank of Under Secretary. An order in this regard has been issued by Riyaz-ul-Haq, Under Secretary, General Administrative Department. According to official sources, the employees who do not come to the office under the timetable will now be punished apart from the unofficially absent officials.
