Dengue Figure Crosses 1200 Mark in J&K

The number of dengue cases in the state has reached 1201. Dengue cases continue to come in despite the mercury falling. The number of dengue cases has reached 716 in the worst-affected district of Jammu.

Meanwhile, among the central experts, senior regional director Shazia Bafai and central expert Mahesh Chandra Koshik met Divisional Commissioner Dr Raghav Langar and municipal administration to discuss dengue management. In addition, the experts informed the Dengue Division President, Dr Kalpana, about the Dengue status of the Jammu Division online.

Central experts inspected dengue management in some areas under Municipal Corporation. Experts share additional information on how to prevent dengue. Health officials said that work is already being done on covid management under the central guideline. Central experts are proposed to return to Delhi on Wednesday.

The dengue report will be given to the Center, especially the affected districts of Jammu, Samba and Kathua of the Jammu division. Record cases of dengue have been reported in the Jammu division after last many years. According to experts, there will be relief from dengue when the temperature drops by the end of November. The lower temperature lowers the risk of developing dengue.
