Narwal Police has arrested a woman smuggler with ganja and heroin from Rajiv Nagar Chowk. The woman has been identified as Shakeela Devi, a resident of Rajiv Nagar, Narwal. When the police saw the woman roaming under suspicious circumstances in Rajiv Nagar Chowk, they had some suspicion of her. Before the police could interrogate the woman, she started running after seeing the police.
When the police stopped the woman after going some distance, the police found white coloured polythene near her. During the search, 2 kg, 300 grams of ganja and six and a half grams of heroin were recovered from the woman. According to the police, the woman’s husband has passed away. She was involved in drug smuggling for a long time. He is under interrogation. It is being ascertained from where she used to get the consignment of drugs. According to the police, arrests of some more people are possible after questioning the woman.
