Home Minister Amit Shah, who is on a visit to Jammu and Kashmir, today paid tributes to the forty CRPF jawans martyred in the Pulwama terror attack before leaving for Delhi. He said that the dedication and supreme sacrifice of the soldiers for the defence of the country further strengthens our resolve to eradicate terrorism. Appreciating the security forces who stood against terrorism, he said that today, all of us could sleep peacefully in our homes due to their change. Every citizen of the country is indebted to the soldiers.

Sharing his thoughts on his own Twitter handle, he wrote that today paid tribute to the brave soldiers of CRPF who were martyred in the cowardly terrorist attack of Pulwama by visiting the Pulwama Martyrs Memorial. Your dedication and supreme sacrifice for the defence of the country further strengthen our resolve to eradicate terrorism. Many salutes to the brave sacrifices.

After paying homage, the Home Minister also planted saplings near the memorial. Let us tell you that Home Minister Amit Shah was on a three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir. His visit was to end on Monday evening. However, when he reached the CRPF camp in Pulwama before leaving for Delhi, he changed his mind to return and decided to stay among the soldiers for one night. He interacted with the soldiers, listened to their problems and had dinner with them as well.

During this, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha was also with him. This morning he reached the martyrdom memorial located in the Lethpora area of ​​Pulwama itself. This memorial has been built in the memory of the forty CRPF martyrs martyred in the Pulwama terror attack. The Home Minister paid tribute to him by paying floral tributes and said that his sacrifice will always remind us to eradicate terrorism. After paying homage, the Home Minister left for Srinagar. From there, he will return to Delhi.
