Snowfall in the hilly areas of Kashmir and torrential rains in the plains disturbed everyday life. A house made of mud collapsed due to incessant rains in the Noorpora area of ​​Tral in South Kashmir’s district Pulwama. A nomadic family lived in this house. Three members of the family died as they got buried in the debris. Although a family member was saved in the rescue operation immediately after this accident, his condition is also said to be critical.

Officials said that this kutcha house near Nurpora Tral Secretariat is being told of Irshad Ahmed’s son Abdul Ghafoor. The nomadic family was present inside the house due to heavy rain. Due to constant rain, the house’s roof collapsed, and four family members were buried under the rubble. Local people also informed the police about this while launching a rescue operation. The police team that reached the spot started removing the debris with the help of local people.

All four people were rescued from the rubble in critical condition and taken to hospital. However, before the doctors could start their treatment, three family members died in the hospital. While the state of one remains critical. He has been admitted to a hospital in Srinagar for better treatment.

After this accident, the Tehsildar, who reached the spot, was instructed to send eight nomadic family members to a safe place. On the behest of the Tehsildar, other members were sent to Government Middle School, Nurpora, Tral. After this accident, the district administration has warned other nomadic families living in kutcha houses to move to safer places because of the possibility of rain and snowfall.
