The raid was carried out against terrorist organizations Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), Hizb-ul-Mujahideen (HM) and their allies Al Badr, The Resistance Front (TRF), People Against Fascist Forces (PAFF). , Mujahideen Gajwatul Hind (MGH) etc., to unearth the conspiracy to carry out various terrorist activities. According to sources, a new case was registered on October 10, following which raids were conducted by the NIA.

Ejaz Ahmed Tak son Ghulam Mohammad Tak, Mudasir Ahmed Ahangar son Ghulam Mohiuddin Ahangar, Nasir Manzoor Mir son Manzoor Ahmed Mir and Junaid Hussain Khan son Mohammad Hussain Khan were taken to Achabal police station, and they were interrogated.
Security has been tightened because of the target killings in the Kashmir Valley this month. Meanwhile, more than 500 youths have been detained across Kashmir to arrest the terrorists involved in the attack. They are being interrogated. Among the detained youth are stone pelters, youths in the suspect list of OGW and cadres associated with Jamaat-e-Islami and Tehreek-e-Hurriyat.
